This right angled SATA cable features a standard (straight) female Serial ATA connector as well as a right-angled (female) SATA connector, providing a simple 18in connection to a Serial ATA drive even if space near the drive''s SATA port is limited. Once the right-angled SATA connector has been inserted into the drive''s SATA data port, the shaft of the cable is seated flush with the rear panel of the drive, eliminating the clutter of excess cable at the connection point - an ideal solution for small or micro form factor computer cases. The right angled SATA cable features a thin, narrow construction that helps to improve airflow within the computer case; the cable also features a rugged, yet flexible design that makes it easy to make the SATA connection as needed, and is backed by StarTech.com''s Lifetime Warranty. As an alternative, StarTech.com also offers an 18in Left Angle SATA cable (SATA18LA1), which offers the same simple installation as this right angled SATA cable, but allows the cable to connected to the SATA drive from the opposite direction.

It was red and came in a small clear bag. I love my cable and take it everywhere with me. On a serious note, it does the job, have only had it for a a few months now but it is still working. (was that a serious note?)

These are your typical sata data cable, they are good length 45cm which more than enough in my mid size tower case. it has one right angle connector which is perfect. they stay in the port very well they don't fall out,

...as the cable that you will get - at least the one I received - had right angle connectors at both ends... while the description "right angle one end" this is supported by the picture. You usually want a straight end to connect to the motherboard and a right angle to connect to your HDD, DVD drive etc...
Otherwise the cable quality is not outstanding but good enough to do the job. For the price it is a very good deal, your would pay around £5 at Novatech for the same quality. Startech delivered very quickly, if they would have delivered the product ordered it would have been 5 stars.

StarTech 18 inch Right Angle Serial ATA Cable
Because of the location of the drive bays in my computer I needed a long cable with a right angle connector for the drive end. This cable works fine and the price is great.

wrong cable sent
ordered cable in picture with right angle and got a cable with two straight ends.would not use this seller again as other people have had this problem. not worth sending back.
