17.99 - the sequel 11.99. Why the huge difference?

I've pre-ordered the sequel, but am holding off on the original, hoping the price'll drop. Why is the first film so much dearer? Seems odd.

S Walker says:
well, the first film is far better,am sure many love the original but don't care for what is more or less an inferior remake than sequel with but may be tempted into completing the set given the relatively low price of the 2nd film, could have cost less to produce the 2nd Blu Ray for many reasons, extras, fees for contributors in extras, royalties, copyright issues and so on,the fact that Demons 2 will be granted a 15 cert for the film relying on extras to be flogged as an 18 tells that it is much less violent with more controversial material like eye gouging, blood on breast, drug use, mutilation close ups ect not appearing as they did(and cut from original UK release)in the first movie, things that make the original a favourite with gore fans
