I am sure I have written a review in regards to this product, but they have sent me a notice about rating this Item so I will give you my two pence worth. Firstly let me state I am a freelance videographer that needed an adjustable light source for recording whilst in dimly lit locations i.e. night clubs, hotel conference rooms and wedding venues etc. Anyway here are the Cons & Pros, as opposed the Pros & Cons.
Cons: This is not a terribly well build product, over robust handling could snap a few parts on it if you're not careful. The hinge that positions the light never seems quite tight enough, the shoe mount for fastening it onto the video camera or camera suffers from a similar ailment but it suffices. It can be a little difficult placing the lithium battery on as I never received instructions in the box, but after a few tries you will get the gist of it, it may be different for normal pencil type batteries I have not tried.
Pros: I found it very affordable as I am on a budget and need equipment that is within my limited money supplies, the dimmer switch on the side I found to be invaluable as I have a light that I bought for more than three times the amount with no dimmer and it was too bright when recording at work locations hence half blinding some of the clubbers. I find with the smallest of lithium batteries the light would last for more than an adequate period of time. The fact that it can be used with 5 different battery types was a really good purchasing point also. The three diffuses for me sealed the deal and to date I am happy with my purchase and would recommend this to anyone on a budget or even looking to be a little more frugal with their budget.

Like the title suggests this video light wieghs next to nothing, even with a big sony camcorder battery installed, it sits on top of my dslr and is not too intrusive. The light output is really good with a good spread, it`s never going to fill a large hall with light but it`s still quite impressive though. I got about 45 mins out of rechargable AA batteries (6) at full power, the sony NP-f930 battery gives hours of use.The build quality is good enough bearing in mind it`s lightwieght construction, the filters are a nice tight fit and don`t slip out, even when turned upside down, and really defuse the light well. There are a few really cool features on this light, like it`s ability to use various types of batteries, and the dimmer control and the battery charge check.The only downside is the mounting bracket looks a bit flimsy, but it works well and holds the lamp in position ok, it is screwed to the light so might be replaceable.At this price it really is a prety good piece of kit to have in your bag......recommended
EDIT- I've had this light for over 6 months now and it has been bounced around in my bag in various locations whilst on shoots and it has proved to be much tougher than first impressions would suggest, my initial fears about the mount were unfounded as the light has taken a few hard knocks which have tilted the lamp backwards on it's bracket,but no damage was done. I'm well happy with the light and would buy another.

Superb. A cheap 'talking heads' video light for those times when you were caught unprepared or when you need a little extra light. Takes a range of standard batteries as well as AA. Comes with three filters, it's not heavy (either in weight or on battery needs) and is easy to carry around. A great buy that won't break the bank.

I thought I might be taking a gamble with quality on this, but the light is actually really good. Comes supplied with filters for different lighting temperatures and also has a dimming control (not mentioned in the product description).
I film a lot of live music / theatre events and this little baby has made all the difference to my quality. I may invest in some more to use as additional fill lights.
The only slight problem is that the adaptor that converts the panasonic (etc) camera batteries is pretty cheaply made, so you have to be careful when connecting.

I received my Pro 160 a few days ago and after checking it worked I was really looking forward to using it on a shoot. Yesterday was the first time I actually managed to use it on a shoot (boudoir and glamour 70s style)and was really impressed with how good this product is. It is light and easy to use and allowed me to take some amazing images. I would highly recommend this product to anyone who takes images in lowlight and needs that extra bit of illumination. Use good quality batteries (6 AA Duracell in mine) and you will get the best results, even having the light on for over three hours yesterday it was still reading full on the indicator. The fact that you can use this off the camera as well for fill in or back lighting makes it really a good piece of kit and because it is LED it isn't going to give off a lot of heat like other lights do.

Good light, nice and powerful as well as controllable. It is a shame they used such cheap plastic for the fittings. I had one bump into a person and the shoe snapped off. Not really strong enough for EPG work. Still a good light though.
