this album follows on to the silverhead debut album and very surprisingly became the final album into the bargain i love this album it puts the first album well in the shade the style is the same with robbie blunt being on guitar this time i feel made this a superior sounding album white hot guitar riffs sweeping ballads with desbarras glam jaggeresque singing total into the best and most under rated album i have ever come across and i was about in the 70s!!! buy this like i did last week and you,ll be astonished why they never made it back in 73!!!!

I'd disagree about it being better than the first album, but it's still a real bargain at just under a tenner. Crikey, "More Than Your Mouth Can Hold" and the single version of "Rolling With My Baby" make it worth twice that! Then there's "Hello New York", "Heavy Hammer"...Oh, every track is a classic...I'll say exactly what I said about the first album...BUY IT. OWN IT. LOVE IT!!!!

I love this album it is a typical 70`s rock band my only fault is I didnt discover it until 1995. If Id known about it then my friends would have been bombarded it is everything I love in a rock band. Vocal supreme Mr Michael Des Barres is on top form no matter who he joins up with the man is pure gold , unfortunatly not everything he touched turned to gold, His next big step was the mighty Detective and what a brilliant band they were only to implode after two albums. Silverhead a bright shining star that sizzled and expanded before burning up and shooting away RIP.

Glam at it's finest. 11 Oct 2010

Silverhead was one of the great glitter / glam bands to come out in the early 70's. These guys were in the same league as the Dolls, Bowie's Ziggy period, the original Alice Cooper band or the Sweet. For whatever reasons they got left by the wayside but they left us with a couple of good releases that I just wore out back in the day.

Great album of bluesy guitar driven rock'n roll. Of particular interest are the songs "Hello New York" and "More than your Mouth Can Hold".This band should have had more recognition than they got, but considering the amount of good rock available at the time, you were lucky if somone turned you on to them.
