The GameCube, like the PlayStation and Dreamcast before it, gets its game data from unwriteable disc media, so, unlike Nintendo's cartridge-based games, you'll need a memory card to save your place in the game, store your preferences, and preserve the stats of your sports games etc. The Logic 3 16Mb memory card is divided into 251 blocks; each game's save files take up a differing amount of memory--usually three to five, but sometimes up to 40 blocks--so this should be enough to save information for at least 20 or 30 different games.

Fun:
Wii users, your Wii will not save your Gamecube game progress internally like it does with Wii games. You'll need one of these. Worth getting if you want to enjoy some retro gaming!

This memory card unlike others that i have owned hasn't had any corrupt data. in the past many cards have temporarily lost or in some cases completly deleted game saves that i have had. not so far with this memory card at all. would definitely recommend buying.

Fun:
We had a few gamecube games and we realised that they could be used on the Wii but needed a Memory Card. This item seemed very reasonably priced and we have had no problems using it. Excellent Choice.

not much to say here, just that it does what it needs to, not much memory on it for a memory card, but as i only use one gamecube game on my wii, that doesnt matter
