Product Description

Welcome to Cedar Cove – a small town with a big heart!

Judge Olivia Lockheart has caused a scandal. Hearing Cecilia and Ian Randal’s petition for a divorce, she came to the conclusion that the young couple hadn’t tried hard enough to make their marriage work. Her judgement? Divorce denied. While Judge Olivia throws the town into an uproar, her daughter Justine is on the verge of the biggest decision of her life. Should she stop waiting for love and accept a marriage of convenience? Olivia’s best friend, Grace, has troubles of her own. Dan, her husband, is increasingly distant and Grace is starting to wonder if he’s having an affair.

And in Cedar Cove, nothing stays secret for long.

Make time for friends. Make time for Debbie Macomber.

I discovered Debbie Macomber after picking up a copy "A Good Yarn" in a service station! She has a knack of writing about real, likeable characters and I always want to know what happens next. "16 Lighthouse Road" introduces you to the residents of Cedar Cove, which is based on her home town of Port Orchard near Seattle. My only fault with her books is that they are too short - you read them so quickly you can't wait for the next one. She writes one a year and they come out each September - I have just finished reading her latest "92 Pacific Boulevard" (book 9 in the series). I would recommend anyone to buy this book and get to know all the Cedar Cove residents.

Family meetings 5 Dec 2009

I have lost count of the number of Debbie Macomber books I have read to date but I feel as if I am visiting with family and friends whenever I dip into her books. I would love to hug some of the characters and bang the heads together of some of the rest of them who can't seem to see the wood for the trees. A good read seems to be assurred with every volume. Need I say more?

lovely book 19 Aug 2009
Format:Paperback
This was a lovely book. I enjoyed reading it and the next 2 books (it is the 1st part of a trilogy) on holiday. It is easy reading and has some lovely characters that you gradually get to know. I will be reading more Debbie Macomber as soon as I can get some!!
