I am thoroughly satisfied with purchasing this product. I am able to connect my desktop to my Samsung TV and Acer monitor at the same time with no loss of quality. I searched all the local computer stores for exactly this product, but even their qualified technicians were telling me that I either needed a new graphics card with 2 VGA sockets or one of those expensive boxes to do what I wanted to do, but I had seen a product like this at my college so knew they existed and persisted until I found this one. For £2.50, you can't go wrong and if it doesn't work, you can't complain because you've not spent a fortune to get it.

Quite how anybody can give this cable less than five stars is beyond my comprehension. If the cable is not suitable for the purpose it was intended for then the fault lies with your assessment of the problem not with this cable. I have a monitor and a 32" TV and required the TV to be the main connection but also wanted the ability to view the monitor. All components are in the same room and no long cables required therefore the perfect solution was this rather inexpensive cable that allowed both the monitor and the TV to be plugged into the cable then the cable to be plugged into the PC. The reviewer that insists you should not buy this cable as it is not possible to split video this way is at best wrong and at worst an idiot as i have and i would assume many others have managed to split the video feed using this cable. Excellent product at an excellent price. No splitter box or other expensive solution required for the above type of set-up.

I did read the reviews before purchasing this product and, as ghosting was not mentioned in great detail, thought that the couple of quid was worth the gamble. Unfortunately though, I only have the PC connected at the moment and the text is annoyingly ghosted and irritates after a very short while.
The splitter end also does not attach securely to the other VGA connection and requires extra support through cable ties, tape, elastic bands, whatever is to hand.
Will not be able to use, however, I still think it was worth the gamble.

Waste of money
Plugged into a PC with one output going to a TV another to a projector have to keep reaching behind the PC to wiggle or unplug. Basically, it doesn't work.

doesn't "split" monitor, just mirrors.
