First.....to the past!I was a huge fan of the classic singer/songwriter's of the seventies, artiste's like Paul Simon,Cat Steven's,Al Stewart and other's including the unforgettable C.T.Ward. Then to the eighties, and I thought, not much happening here.True some of those mentioned above were still producing magical music but there did'nt appear to be much new talent on the scene. Then one day I heard "Would'nt It Be Good" by a certain Mr. Kershaw on the radio and I thought, not bad!So I went out and bought the album and I have been a loyal fan since then. However Nik's career in the eighties was rather short lived so I wondered when this album was released so many year's later if he could re-capture the magic of earlier year's. Like good wine he has improved with age and this album is classic. From the hauntingly beautiful "Have A Nice Life" to the rocker "Made In Heaven" this album is wonderfully entertaining. It's that most unusual animal- an album with not one bad track.Well done Nik and congratulation's also on your new album "To Be Frank".Whatever you do, don't go away on us again-I'm looking forward to your next already!!
