Relaxing and effective 13 April 2010

I really like this book and DVD set. I first borrowed it from our library to see what it is like. I am now ready to buy it for keeps.

The book contains very detailed instructions on what to do for each exercise. The DVD then pulls it all together. There are altogether four workouts in this book and DVD set.

I find the exercises really work the abdominals to the point that you can feel a pulling sensation for some time afterwards, but without making you feel exhausted. My abs after three pregnancies are pretty lousy, but this regime has already, after only two weeks, made a great difference. I know I will need to continue for another couple of months though to get the maximum results.

I particularly like the music on this video. I find it so relaxing. No silly talking or pop music. I feel mentally and physically refreshed after one of these workouts.

Anyone can fit 15 mins of exercise into their day. Here, you feel you are really getting somewhere with just 15 mins.

Got this book and DVD before a family wedding earlier this year, and by the way this was after my fourth child so do I need to say that my tummy muscles and weight needed help. The book is really nicely presneted but it is def the dvd that makes it worth while. The dvd is divided into 4 x 15 min workouts and once you start a workout it is constant for the 15 mins. The exercises include a good warn up and a good stretching out afterwards. 15 min excercises are great with children as 15 mins are manageable, sometimes even 30 can be slotted in. This dvd def worked and would recommend it.

Whether 15 minutes every other day really will give me a flat tummy and stronger abs, remains to be seen, but if this book and brilliant DVD don't help then I don't think anything will! The book is simple to read and the pictures clearly show the exercise positions. The DVD is however the plus point, it is shown in real time and the exercises described and filmed perfectly. The first 15 minute exercise block was perfect for me, I felt like I had worked, but the exercises were straight forward and easy - great for improving my self esteem and will power. I am only onto the second group of 15 minute exercises and presently do the first and second together. At first I thought it would become boring, but by combining the 15 minute sections, one can keep it stimulating. Cutting down on the calories is the only tricky bit...Good Luck and "are you breathing?"
