At last I found a mouli!! My baby weaning book states that you should use a mouli to puree potatoes and sweetcorn etc so I was thrilled to finally find one!

It's great - it purees up baby food easily and also it's quick and easy to clean afterwards!! Perfect

Following Annabel Karmel's recipies, we bought a cheap mouli for boy number 1, but threw it our when rust spots appeared around the holes. When boy 2 came along I thought we'd try this one. It looks v similar to our old one, but is better built and has survived several dishwasher trips without blemish, so far.

Unlike the other reviewer I didn't find it hard to take apart and put back together, you just push the 'crossbar' down on the spring and twist and it pops out/in. However, I agree Mouli's are a little more energetic than a blender, but then they remove hard to digest skins from sweetcorn, peas etc. It's not v hard for a baby size portion anyway.

Small, neat, great with potatoes- but THAT's IT! I bought it to help me with baby food preparation. Pretty rubbish. Can't do peas or sweetcorn or lentils. Even mushing up normal food is really hard. Poor product.
