Excellent value for money - better than more expensive kettles. It doesn't take too long to boil either and easy to keep clean. Worth buying if you don't want anything fancy as it replaced a more expensive elaborate kettle which only lasted a few months. An absolute bargain.

I wanted a kettle for the use of the builders doing some work at my house. The requirements were: cordless, cheap, robust, easy to use, quick. I am happy to say that this answered well all these criteria and it has done a very good job so far in 6 weeks of heavy use.

This little Haden Kettle was a replacement kettle for one which cost twice as much and only lasted for 11 months. We found it would cost us more to send the original one back to the manufacturer under the 1 year guarantee however it wasnt worth it. Instead we bought this little haden, its fastand efficient - does its job so why spend more.

I wanted a cheap kettle after my previous expensive model started leaking water. The Haden simply does the job. Its not the prettiest, its not the quickest but if you want that you have to pay much more.

I've had very expensive kettles which I've had to replace in just over a year because we live in such a very hard water area that the kettles have ended up - quite frankly - looking disgusting, so I was looking for something cheap, and reasonable looking because - let's face it, a kettle's a kettle, unless you're the kind of person who is sad enough to want your kitchen utensils all colour matched. This kettle is absolutely perfect. Boils fast, doesn't scream at you because of its odd shape, or design, and if I have to throw it away in a year's time I won't be sobbing over my wallet. Great. Can't recommend it highly enough.

Lightweight, easy to fill and pour. No concealed element but a thoroughly good kettle. Get one as a spare even if you don't need a new kettle just yet. Terrific value for money.

Like some of your other reviewer's, in the last three years I have had two kettle's that I paid over £30 for, both ceased working in under 18 month's. The element's in both cases were under the base which I think may be the problem.

The Haden is a tried and tested basic design, I have had similar in the past and they lasted for year's hence the reason for this purchase.

This kettle is cheap, sturdy and easy to use. Absolutely no problems so far, what more can i say?

If i had to point out one flaw its that the minumum volume of water you have to boil is 0.7l. Which if you are only making tea for one is a bit of a waste of energy...
