Neatly packaged, concise format with 130 7-13cm (3-5") blocks to make your quilting projects sing. Susan is a very imaginative, well-established author with several books, who always delivers. There are lots of lovely quilt blocks here with many super ideas including wedge and snail trail, but my favourite is the bird. Discover all you need to know to make a quilt block, then select from the blocks that are separated into categories such as Almost Amish, Japanese Odyssey and Log Cabin - there are 10 categories in all, so you should easily find favourites. You can also make a mini tote and a book bag but I'm sure you will come up with many ways to use these blocks. Recommended. --Karenplatt.co.uk
This book contains a collection of patchwork and appliqué designs, which have been chosen and designed specifically to work in smaller size projects. Each block comes with a full cutting list and assembly instructions, plus mix and match suggestions to combine with other blocks, and ideas on how you might change or embellish the block design. If you enjoy tackling smaller projects such as tote bags, wall hangings, pillows and other home and personal accessories then this book offers you 130 gorgeous little blocks to stimulate your imagination. --Fabrications
