This is about the most useless item I have purchased, I didn't try it until the weather turned very cold, and then discovered it was less than useless, virtually no heat, and the fan could hardly be felt, useless. Don't waste your time or money 12v 150 Watts Car Heater Fan & Defroster

I'm afraid I have to agree with the 1 star reviewer who said that this was a fairly ineffectual product. I was surprised at how gentle the breeze was. I had no problem with the heating element, just an almost useless fan. A pity, because it's been cold recently.

"Warm breeze" was about it! Frankly, by the time it made a tiny (and I mean tiny) impression on defrosting, my car's own heating had taken over and done the job. The only good thing is it didn't cost an arm and a leg. I can only assume that the reviewers who gave it the thumbs up had a very low expectation and are easily seduced by clever-looking gadgetry. I should have checked the one-star reviews of a similar product on offer!

Received promptly. Only used it once so far but seems fit for purpose.

Works fine _ useful
It does take a bit of time to heat up but find it very useful in the car when it is freezing outside. It is easy to use.

dont bother with product i can blow warmer than this item...... in the recent cold spell i needed something to boost the internal heating and get my hands warm, no chance with this... Read more

Defrost booster
Bought this as an aid to defrost the windscreen and it does help before the cars own system heats up enough to get the ice moving. One or two points though. Read more

A waste of time & money!
Was extremely disappointed in this ineffective device. I reckon I could have created more heat, more hot air by simply blowing on the windscreen after a good vindaloo!
