My Samsung Sky HD box has an appalling internal IR sensor, so I wanted a cheap solution. For a few quid, this appeared to fit the bill, so I bought it and have not been disappointed. I fitted it to RF Output 2 in the Sky box, turned "RF Output Power Supply" to "ON" in the Installers Menu and hey presto I can now control the box from behind the sofa if I need to! I have now been able to shut the box in a TV cabinet and in fact this way works even better as the original sensor does not interfere with the new one in any way. This is yet another blood pressure reducing gadget!
