Having read some of the startling reviews for these sort of products - to be fair not this particular one - I bought this with some trepidation. It arrived very quickly and the build is quite good.
I measured the output voltage before I connected my Sansa Clip - 5.27 volts - an acceptable tolerance and then plugged it in. No explosion - a good result so far. So, now for the charge - from a completely flat player it takes almost 2 hours and neither the charger nor the player have got more than very slightly warm. The LED indicator light is not overly bright - a good point. Left it connected for another hour and again no sign of overheating and indeed the charging indicator after another 30 mins then shows fully charged and not continually charging and indeed the minimal amount of warmth of the charger reduces too so maybe the 'smart' technology which reduces the charge rate does indeed work.

I ordered a "Black" charger but got a white one! Is someone colour blind?
If colour matters to you, beware.
I checked the off-load voltage output before use and, at 5.32V, it is within the 10% tolerance permitted by the USB Spec.

Seemed to be working fine, but 10 minutes later it was not charging any more. Has not worked since.

Do not touch
Bought one of these and it shorted then exploded on first use. I contacted seller and never received a reply.Perhaps this says something about the company. Buyer beware.

USB UK wall plug AC Power
USB UK wall plug AC Power is a useful tool if the socked of the wall is UK type. U avoids a number of unnecessary adaptors.

Didn't work
Not much really to write about it, it didn't work at all. I sent it back and got a fill refund but (as a result) was left without a charger too long!
