The Palm Z22 is great. Great price and fun to use. I am one of those people who have scraps of paper with bits of info on and this PDA is brilliant. Its the first PDA I have ever bought and its so easy to use. It can easliy be connected to your computer via a USB cable and the information can be downloaded within seconds. Its really light and you can buy and download games (which is a must as there is only solitaire and crazy daisy!) you can also store photos. Basically the Z22 does everything it says on the box. Now for the negatives...

There is not much to be disaapointed with except that the screen protector is useless and I would advise buying a case. It is not the most superior PDA on the market. You can't download music onto this Palm or send emails which are some of the reasons why it is under £100. Overall for this price you cant fault the Z22.

The Z22 was a present for my wife, who juggles a part time job with looking after two children and needed a 'portable' organiser.
The calender is easy to use, clear and can be easily synchronised with a pc. Records can be colour coded by type (eg business, personal etc) and there is plenty of space for entering the appointment details. The Z22 also has programmes for managing contacts, expenses, writing memo's and making notes in you own handwritting. Yes it's true you cannot download music or send e-mails, but lets face it...most of us have mobile phones for this.!. If you want an easy to use PDA, this is the one for you.

Bought one for my wife and it works fine as a simple diary and organiser plus simple tasks. Very lightweight and construction perhaps does not inspire confidence that it would survive regular and long term use. No cover or protective case in the box. White plastic case looks 'girly' rather than 'ipod'.

It certainly does the job and syncs OK with Outlook so I can't complain (and nor does she), however, the colour screen is very small and not anything like as clear as that on the TX for example. Not good for longer term use like reading docs in 'Docs to Go'.

If I was buying again I would spend a bit more and get something more substantial but if you want that Palm OS on a budget this is OK.
