Clearly laid out, this is a must for those learning Blues guitar. I've been playing for a couple of years, studying method and theory and different styles, but my general playing lacked feeling. The use of the licks in this series of books helped me develop unique licks and riffs by demonstrating the basics and tried and tested licks from professional performers. I bought the accompanying series of 101 Rock licks and 101 Jazz licks by the same author.
All books come with an audio CD of the licks in their respective books!
Thoroughly recommended

I thought this was likely to be just another string of run-of-the-mill stuff but there are some really good licks in here, with some info about origins etc., and they're do-able, too!
I may not need all 101, but who knows?

If you love to play the blues, I strongly recommend it. It has different sections from Pre-war and post-war blues to Delta, Chicago and Texas blues. It even has post-modern blues. It even has text in it that gives context to what you're learning.
It's not teaching specific songs, but what it does teach can be used in nearly every single blues song - it even has a list at the back to show you which songs.

I would give a 5 star, but I've not used it to its full potential yet.
