101 Hits for Buskers: Piano/Organ: Book 1 [Paperback]

As the title suggests, this was the first title in the "101 Hits for Buskers" series which became very popular. As a keyboard/organ player these books have been invaluable to me over the years - but for some reason I had never bought this issue! The recent purchase of a new organ prompted me to look for it and I bought a copy from an Amazon Marketplace supplier.
The selection of songs is fine (though obviously a matter of personal taste) and the reason I have only awarded two stars is that whereas the original edition was loose-bound and would open flat on the music rest, this edition is solid! I was aware of this at the time of ordering, but it really is impossible to use as it will not stay open at any page, even with severe back-folding!
Fortunately, I have access to a comb-binder so I was able to cut off the glued spine & re-bind the book so it will open flat on the music rest and is a useful addition to my repertoire!

Clickerman refers to this first book in the series not being ring-bound. My copy is - so this must have happened for subsequent reprints.

As ever with Busker books, you get the melody line, lyrics and chord names but no accompaniments - that's left up to you to devise for yourself if you want or need to. The books in this book are -
