Product Description
This is a high grade digital coax cable - RG6 type that contractors use. A black 100m length on a drum will be supplied. This contractors cable is exactly what your local aerial and satellite installer may use. It is sourced directly from a UK national satellite trade supplier and is supplied in a neat and convenient sized drum.
The cable is branded Kontrakt and for your convenience is meter marked if you wish to cut exact lengths. This cable is recommended for all satellite, aerial and cable TV applications. It can be used for satellite and aerial downleads as well as general aerial extension leads. Installing a distribution system? This is what you need! This RG6 cable is standard 7mm diameter coax and has both an aluminium shield and and aluminium braid ensuring complete shielding of the centre signal conductor. The double shield helps keep the unwanted signals out and the good signals in. The centre conductor is made from copper.
This great value cable is supplied with a free box of 100 x 7mm black cable clips with masonry nails.

Bought this to run a cable from front room up to loft, across house and into bedroom. Tested by using full 100m and it worked with Virgin (which I believe requires a higher standard than Sky/Freesat). Have also tested a Freesat connection which works fine. The cable is thick enough to allow a good connection with F Connectors. The clips appear to be the same as the ones previously used by my Sky installer.

This is very nice, low noise coax. Does what it says on the tin - it's 100m of coaxial cable. We were using it to wire our televisions up to the aerial and the signal quality is good.
In addition, I'd have to add the following point:
* This is only single core, single strand coax (RG6 as it says). It is therefore NOT suitable for making signal cables with small pins (i.e. BNC, SHV, MHV etc). As I mentioned, we used it as aerial cable.
One other positive addition as well - the insulating core, between the signal wire and the sheild is very soft. This means that you can strip the wires down very easily. I wired up the house using a pair of scissors (for the outer sheath) and a butter knife for the central core! This is very handy if you don't have the correct tools to hand.
In addition, I'd have to add the following point:

just as shown in the photos. For the amount of cable im getting it's a good price as my local satellite store sells it at 1.60 per meter (BONKERS)...
arrived in a box which was sealed tight, security in place to stop the contents from moving in the form of bags of air (does the job). Cut the cable to check the quality and its just as shown in the pictures. Looking forward to rewiring my whole house. Also, the clips supplied are of a good quality, I expected nothing less and nothing more.
Good quality, good packaging, fast delivery time = Great BUY.

Used this to run three cables from a roof dish into my mothers house. Lots of cable, plenty of clips. Whole thing works well so cable must be good. She's well pleased.
