A great present for someone you know who wants to do their little bit for the environment. The advice is clear cut, and presented in little snippets to make you think about creative ways to save, recycle, and generally live a more econo-conscious lifestyle. Probably a bit bit for the Christmas stocking at 384 pages, but you get a 1000 tips and it's nicely illustrated!!

The book 1001 ways you can save the plane contains 1001 tips a person can implement to become more environmentally friendly. It is a handy sized, colourful ,nicely illustrated book and overall it is written in a clear down to earth way. Each point is clearly numbered and written in a concise and easy to understand way.The 1001 ways cover all aspects of everyday life mainly tips for your home and garden. The points are practical and easy to implement.I found some of the ways to be more obvious, but there are also many others that i did not know about. I found it very interesting and informative. A useful addition is the websites section at the end of the book where more help can be found on the subject.

I would recommend this book to anyone of any age interested in helping the planet, and also to anyone who isn't as i believe it will convert those who are sceptical.
