This book is brilliant - it encourages little one's in their mastering of numbers, colours and observation - and so much to talk about on each page. My grandson loved my first purchase - so I have been back to Amazon and bought another four from the series. Excellent delivery as usual.

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent 19 July 2009
Format:Hardcover
I have purchased 2 books from this series (1001 Monsters & 1001 Pirates) and would highly recommend both. My son is 4 and loves them equally, excellent for keeping him occupied when waiting for meals etc. They also help number recognition and observation well worth the money.

5.0 out of 5 stars Fantastic book 21 Nov 2008
Format:Hardcover
My son (5 yrs) has just started this book and he can't put it down. It is utterly absorbing, especially if your child enjoys numbers. The illustrations are great and very creative. Rate it very highly. Now looking for other Usborne 1001 books.
