I can't say much more than it does what it says. It's a 3-Pin mains plug with a USB port on it that lets you charge anything that is normally charged via USB. It works with my 32GB iPod Touch and my Bluetooth GPS unit and there's no issues. I found it did charge faster than via USB so this should be a better choice than the 500mA models.
I've knocked it down one star for the fact the pins are a little tight in the socket. When you combine it with the slightly less substantial plastic the earth pin is made from I can see a recipe for it snapping.
I've seen reviews that mention that similar products have burnt out their electronic goods. I've left mine on charge all day at work so I can listen to my iPod through the stereo, it's never got any warmer than it does via my laptop.

Although this plug is an unbranded model it does what it's meant to do i.e. charge a USB device from a standard power socket. I've tried a few devices (Wii remote charge station, Sony Ericsson phone, etc.) and they all seemed to work fine. Obviously the real price is greater than 1p when you include the postage costs but all in all I'm happy with the product.

This item is great. Had looked at loads of different ones,trying to decide what would be best for my 11 year old daughter. She needed one to charge her mp3 player without having to connect to computer,as she listens to her story books on it each bedtime. This is ideal. I had read other reviews saying some items got hot or even melted,which i didnt want as the socket is next to my daughters bed. I have no problems with this at all. We even take it with us if we go away. Dont be put off by its cheap price.
