* First Impressions:
Top notch build quality and premium looks thanks to the contoured design and two tone finish.
The unit is tall and narrow at 13.8cm x 6.2cm, yet beefy at 2.1cm thick and weighing 174g. Understandably so, as it houses a powerfull 10000mAh battery. The battery was already fully charged on receipt.
I personally like the form factor, as it is as wide as my phone, thus making for easy handling.
Draining the battery took quite a while: The Breett charged my Nexus 7, Samsung phone and iPad Air (had 80% charge), and still the unit displayed 2 out of 4 bars! Eventually I ran out of stuff to charge!! I have been through Bluetooth headsets and PS3 controllers too. It really is incredible how many products use a 5 volt charge input. Anything sporting a mini or micro USB charge port can be easily handled by the Breett.
As per description, the unit sports two power outlets: 1A and 2.1A. The latter offers a very fast charge and I would recommend that you use this output for tablets. If you do not require a fast charge on your phone, best restrict the 2.1A for occasional use. Ideally one should charge at around one fourth of the battery capacity for max battery longevity. So I would recommend using the 1A charging output for low capacity battery devices.
I do find that the Breett is a high quality, no frills solid unit offering great value for money
