This book has more excellent examples of graphic elements. I own the first in the series which is just called 1000 Graphic Elements. I liked it so much, when I found out there was a second one, I snapped it up and was not disappointed! I would recommend this book to students or professionals as a great source of inspiration.

As a student studying Graphic Design I needed a book which covers a wide range of subjects to do with finishing a design, I'm especially interested in hand made graphic design. This book features different printing techniques, surface manipulation, formatting and binding and different graphic devices. Designers are now wanting to go back to the earlier practices of handmade, hand finishing design where feel is just as important as layout and communication. As the author says 'Its essential to inspire consumers to savour the experience of a thoughtfully and beautifully crafted design artefact.'
This book simply presents you with these ideas; featuring original work from leading design agencies you have a perfectly balanced retrospective of design work involving the hand today.
