This was a beautifully illustrated and well written book on diet, nutrition, and exercise. It has a lot of excellent tips on how to keep your metabolism running, and it's presented well and easily understood. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because I've done a lot of reading on this subject and was kind of hoping for something more in depth. I guess you could say that I didn't learn much I hadn't already read about. There were a few new and interesting tidbits, but most of it was fairly basic.
I would recommend this for someone who is just starting a diet program or is looking for simple and varied ways to slowly change their eating habits and take off pounds in a sensible way. Not recommended for those who are looking for ways to fine tune an already well informed program.
