Product Description

Product Description

If you think you are in charge of your chickens, prepare for a change in the pecking order. From Fowl Play to Hen-tertainment, in this hilarious collection by Diane Parker the chickens show us who are really in charge, and what they're really plotting inside their coops!

Don't worry about the morning after the night before. Unmade nests, broken eggs and scattered food -your human will not even notice the difference and they always have spare time to clean up after you.

Free range means you have the right to roam. However you choose to do it, escape on a regular basis and refuse to return until you are ready.

Try to tip your food hopper up so all the corn spills. That way your human will have to refill it on a more regular basis.

Power to chickens!! 17 Mar 2007
Format:Paperback
Having really enjoyed the books in the "animal 100 ways to train its human" series it was really interesting to see one on chickens rather than the "usual" cats, dogs and horses etc. I've found these little books such a great way of buying a small present for family and friends...what better than one on chickens at Easter time! Having bought this one I can recommend that it achieves the same lovely gentle humour as the others and is a wonderful addition to this delightful series - and is another great little stocking filler. An ineggspensive treat!

100 Ways For A Chicken To Train Its Human is a must have for all chicken owners out there! With chapter titles like 'Fowl Play', 'Eggstra Special' and 'Avian Attitude' this book goes behind the scenes and exposes what goes on in those tiny minds of theirs. This humorous book has hen behaviour sussed, and is the perfect stocking filler for any chicken fancier.

Hen-tertaining! 19 Mar 2007
By Lynneth
Format:Paperback
My step-children bought me this for Mother's Day and I have already read it from cover to cover. Having previously read "A Hundred Thoughts Cats Have About Humans" I have to agree with M. Perry that this is a refreshing change! Lots of entertaining chicken puns that you can share with the kids. You don't need to be a chicken "eggs-pert" to laugh along with the jokes. A fun read for all the family.

Boring, boring, boring.
Boring, boring, boring, nothing original, nothing funny, I expected this book to make me smile, it didn't. Save your money and buy a hen instead.

Why should chickens rule? This book explains in a very detailed, funny way. I have 1 chicken, a rhode island red bantam- she follows all the rules of this book. Read more

100 ways for a chicken to train its human
I was expecting a hillarious read from this little book. Whilst it was mildly amusing in places and raised the odd smirk, it was not the rib splitter I had hoped! Read more

Stocking filler
I bought this for my sister as a stocking filler for Christmas and it was cute (she has chickens herself), but that is it... but that is all it is meant to be.

Very Amusing
I bought this as a gift for a friend who keeps chickens, so I haven't read it, just flicked though, but the pages I looked at were amusing.

Good little book for the smallest room or for someone who has everything. I will not look at chickens now without thinking they might be plotting something against us humans.
