This book is a compilation of 100 pieces of solo music for the trumpet (kind of obvious from the title). It's has a wide variety of pieces by many different composers, ranging from Tchaikovsky and Bizet to Abba and John Lennon.
The music also ranges in difficulty so there is something for players of all levels to practice on and hopefully improve. Some of the easier pieces include 'Puff the Magic Dragon', 'Do-Re-Mi'. For the more advanced player there are the challenges of Bozet's 'Toreador Song' and Rimsky-Korsakov's 'Flight of the Bumble-bee' (It;s impossible to play!!!!)
Definately a worthwhile purchase for any trumpet player!

I have recently bought a new trumpet, after a long break (my previous instrument died of old age, over 10 years ago!)and I was looking for some new music (Having exhausted A Tune A Day!)I was very pleased to find lots of familiar tunes in the book. Including some that even I could attempt!
I like to know what to find in the book so I don't end up with lots of books with the same tunes in them! We bought this book for my son who's a Grade II trumpet player, although he couldn't play all the songs he certainly gave quite a few a go. Good book to have in the collection to use when you fancy a change.

I looked at several books of trumpet or trombone solos (the two instruments are one octave apart so music is suitable for both instruments) and I chose the right one. Read more

This book of music is great, there's a wide selection of pieces varying in style and difficulty. A must buy for any trumpet owner
