The book is beautifully laid out, as are all of his, every step accompanied by colour pictures and instructions. It presumes some photoshop knowledge, but the basic principles are very well explained at the start and it is thoroughly cross referenced for those who prefer to dive in to random chapters. Working through the book will give a wealth of knowledge about how to use all the photoshop tools to create light and shade and texture, and it is quite extraordinary to see a flat area of grey, with a few tweaks, coming alive before your very eyes.
Cannot recommend this book highly enough!
