Each tale gives the reader a different angle, sensation and outlook on horror.

I enjoyed this book in as much as most of the short 'stories' were well done and often quite chilling.
Understand, however, when buying this that it is the sort of thing you would read while waiting for the kettle to boil or something.......it took me hardly any time at all to finish. It is, I suppose, exactly what it says on the cover. Horror 'in the blink of an eye'.

The conceit here is that all the short stories are told in a 100 words or less. This means that whilst some are fairly ropey, as can happen in horror fiction, some... stay with you and lurk in the back of your mind ready to disconcert you when you least expect it.
