A quick message in reply to the other reviewer of this book,
this is 100 habits of successful freelance designers, not just graphic designers
(the earlier book has a similar title and indeed may share certain info)
...however information aimed at freelancers, will differ from the other book.

I found the 1 star review to be slightly unfair after reading this book and the other book mentioned. This book is completely focused on the freelance aspect of design and is aimed generally at people making the switch to freelance. It advises you on all aspects of freelance design and guides you through the process of doing it yourself in a sense. It also includes references and content to do with how other designers started freelance, whilst showcasing their current work.

There is another book published 30th Sept 2005 titled "100 Habits of Successful Graphic Designers: Insider Secrets from Top Designers on Working Smart and Staying Creative" (Paperback)
by Josh Berger, surely the authors of this book can't have been unaware of the other book. No need ask which came first, but, which is best?
