Rachel Dwyer has her favourites. She is not entirely neutral. She is hooked on Chaplinesque type of acting. One cine personality she likes is highlighted and particularly the one she is not keen on is sidelined:(Ref.STILL from Film Andaz)__ She beats about the bush when commenting on the film "Naya Daur" and refrains from praising the main character. We couldn't find a single iconic or striking STILL of Dilip Kumar, one of India's greatest actors, in the book. If she wants to redeem her integrity, she should include at least two STILLS of Dilip Kumar: One from Naya Daur (so that People could put a name to his face)and another from Mughal-e-Azam in the next edition of her book. We want uninformed cinemagoers in the West to get to know his face better. We were astounded to read a paragraph about Dilip Kumar's highest number of Filmfare awards under a picture of "Another Actor" in an Exhibition of Indian-Film-Stills at Manchester. Those Stills,we understand, were originally collected by Rachel Dwyer.
