To me it looked like he rushed it and did not even check for grammar and spelling. lazy writing and the content is poor. Only seem,s to be a short book to try and promote his web site so basically a splash page

Clear, concise and well wrtten with links to demonstration videos. If you already use HIIT or Tabatas in your workout this will supplement it well.

2.0 out of 5 stars Lacking Detail -- Nothing Special 12 July 2012
By Bear watcher - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
This book contained little detail of several of the exercises. It merely lists them but does not have pictures of how to do them or in some cases adequate descriptions of how to do them. Plus the ones they do list are not very innovative or original. I have gotten much better information on Tabata examples off of YouTube than from this book.

1.0 out of 5 stars Should have been free 3 May 2013

Nothing in here that you couldn't find online for free. Google or YouTube "Tabata Workouts" and you will find the same if not better info.

1.0 out of 5 stars Don't get this 21 Nov 2012

The guy is so full of bs. Yeah he lives in colorado at 7000 ft. So what? Most of the state lives higher than that. Big whup. Sure it's free. But it's a waste of your time. Anyone can find better information on tabata than he gives just by googling it.

1.0 out of 5 stars He's not Bulgarian 24 Aug 2012

I really can't recommend this book.

The photographs are small and dingy. The book uses terms like "lunge" and "burpee" without explanation: meaningless unless you are an American Keep fit fanatic which I am not. There are links through to videos which you cannot see (I think) unless you have a Kindle Fire, and if you haven't got a kindle fire, it causes problems which look as though Amazon has a serious software bug. There should be warnings about not attempting the videos except with a Kindle Fire - and there weren't either in the description of the book, or in the book itself.

I think also that the precautions and instructions are not very safe. Its reasonable to say that you should "listen to your body" but it doesn't always give warnings of heart attacks (it didn't in my case) and its very very easy to push yourself too hard. I got into this HIIT thing a long time after my heart attack, after my cardiologist sanctioned any exercise up to a pulse rate limit (150BPM), and after I bought a heart rate monitor. I would not feel safe without one and I don't think anyone is, unless he is already very fit.

On the plus side the writer seems genuine and honest enough and I will hang on to the book because I intend to look at the videos on my Pc.

Why he should tell us that he is not Bulgarian beats me.

Some of these workouts may not be the best for myself and my injured lower back, but they'll definitely provide a much more exciting way to do cardio!
