Great mini PC 12 July 2011
This is a very nice mini PC. It didn't arrive as quickly as I had hoped but after all, it was bank holiday weekend. It was also held up for a bit in Hong Kong. I could check on its progress all the way to the local delivery depot. That's where the greatest delay was. When I opened the parcel, I thought the machine looked great. I was surprised to find that it had a copy of Microsoft Office 2010 installed. It is only a trial version - needs registering. It performs excellently. The wi-fi works very well also. My main reason for getting it was for putting movies on and taking it abroad and for viewing on the plane. The battery life is not wonderful. It has an HDMI port and foolishly, I thought all I had to do was connect it to an HD TV an I would get a picture. No such luck. I did contact Belton (the sellers) and they sent me a mini HDMI to VGA cable free of charge. Now it works with a TV. On the whole, a very nice piece of kit.

I paid a bit extra for express delivery and got it in 3 days from China by DHL. I was able to see where it was day by day using the tracking number.

The tablet itself feels solid and good quality, although it seems heavy at just over 1kg, but I will get used to that. The touch screen is bright and clear and as good as my netbook. It runs Windows 7 reasonably speedily, has 3 USB ports and an SD card slot, plus wifi but no Bluetooth. The tablet runs a bit warm, especially when connected to the supplied transformer which has a UK plug. The battery life is a disappointing 2 hours though.

A case and screen protectors were supplied. The tablet is not branded, but for a price that is about half of that of other current Windows tablets it seems good value and a fun toy so far.

Nice bit ot Tech, but 27 Dec 2010
Like i said this is a nice bit of Tech. Looks and feels great. Handles really nice. A very compotent piece of machinery which for the price is close to 10 out of 10. But heres the but, after only 3 days the power supply packed up on me. Its from China and on closer inspection it does look cheap and nasty. It fizzled and it sparked but i managed to disconnect it before it went poof so no damage done to the tablet. So where am i going with this. Basically invest in a decent power supply and you will enjoy a very nice bit of kit. Oh and do explore the windows 7 os that comes with it as it really makes using the thing really pleasureable especially with the touch screen.
