Product Description

Smoky Quartz is said to be very grounding and protective. It is believed to be useful for letting go of old attachments and negative energy. It is also said to heal and strengthen and may be recommended for the bereaved. Smoky quartz has a warming brown colour. Like all quartz itis partially transparent, revealing areas of opacity that add depth and colour. This makes a great complement to other quartz spheres or to ground more intense crystals.

The crystal that arrived is small, 2cm in diameter. The description doesn't actually specify a size and I was expecting something a little larger. The colour is a lovely maroony brown and is uniform through the crystal, so it's probably been treated in some way, possibly with heat. It does seem to be a genuine crystal however, with many facets within it.
