After the inventive mixture of electronica & traditional Brazilian beats on his previous 2 releases - the arrival of this third album from DJ Dolores was anticipated with excitement. After the initial disappointment - sorry to say it hasn't improved much with further listens. Hard to cherry pick even a single track - and nothing matches up to the best on the previous two. Sounds a bit tired and uninspired compared to these earlier albums. If you don't already know 'em - check out their unique blend of dark electronica / dub & sunshine beats. Top marks for his political alignment but the music here isn't hitting former heights . . . . and as for the collaboration with Hugh Cornwell . . . . 'nuff said.
