Just what I needed 5 Aug 2011
I purchased this item as my other kettle a Russel Hobbs which is brilliant stopped switching itself off.

I don't like big kettles as I live alone so a 1.0L size is ideal, it takes roughly 3.5 minutes to boil when full, and a lot less when not, it's light and looks good, I like the fact that it comes off of the boil really quickly which is good when making coffee.

I can highly reccomend this product, especially for people living alone or not able to lift a larger kettle.

Unfortunately this type of kettle does not have the sort of hinged lid that you can hold the kettle and the lid open with one hand whilst filling it up. Just a nuisance.
