***** IMPORTANT NOTE ***** :: " Mini DisplayPort " is NOT the same as " Mini DVI " !!! :::: Its is extremely common for folks to buy the wrong adapter and need to return or exchange despite the *** warnings *** in the product info above (I guess folks read reviews more than product info) ... so if you are not sure which Mac port you have, please read the following info as it may help !!!
As it says in the product description ::: This "Mini DisplayPort" adapter is used to " Connect new generation Apple MacBook, MacBook Pro and MacBook Air with Mini Displayport " . This is for newer generation Macs from late 2008 onwards such as the UNIBODY MacBook and MacBook Pro and AIR ... also the newer iMacs. ( Please also note that AUDIO is not supported by this cable or by Apple Mini DisplayPort connections prior to 2010 models)
Most slightly older Macs (Including MacBook, MacBook Pro and Air ... UP TO late 2008) have a different, slightly bigger but similar looking port called " Mini DVI " and this is NOT the same as " Mini DisplayPort " ... and will not fit.
You can see a close up picture of the actual ports and adapter connection in the 'other' images at the top of the product listing and this will help you check to see if your port matches :::: If you have an older Mac and require the Neet " Mini DVI to HDMI adapter " it can be found here :: Apple Mini DVI to HDMI adapter cable by Neet®
There are also a couple of other, less common adapters that Apple used briefly... one is called "Mini VGA" (found on older Macs) and another is called " Micro DVI " (found on the MacBook Air for one year only) ... these are far less common but still get confused. ( Even Apple can give the wrong advise (eg: telling customers that Mini VGA is Mini DVI but an older version so folks go looking for an older Mini DVI which does not exist ))
The bottom line is to be sure and check your port before buying ... and if in any doubt, please contact Neet Cables via ' contact seller ' on Amazon and we will be more than happy to help.

Great item, well made and well packaged - plastic covers on the metal connectors at either end.
Within 5 mins of plugging the cable in and googling I had my Mac on my Sony tv with display and audio.
On the Mac just make sure that you display displays on the menu bar and then plug in to tv and from the displays menu bar choices make sure you choose mirror so you can have the screen on both Mac and Tv. All that's left is Sound, just open the Sound preferences and just choose your tv under the Output area.

Very high quality cable and plugs, appears to be well screened - zero interference which can be seen with other cables.
Arrived within 2 days of placing order, would highly recommend this seller and product.
As mentioned by the other reviewers just watch out for the plug types, but if this cable fit's well worth the money.

Broken Already
Just over a month already and already developing faults. Won't work on one television AT ALL, and occasionally crackles on another. VERY POOR QUALITY!
