This is an excellent and very useful book. I have read a friends copy and purchased this one for our son who is currently training to be a primary school teacher. I think it will be invaluable to him in the future. I use the stategy on a daily basis at work in a primary school. With some children the first time they are put on the chart is enough of a stiga for them, obviously, you still get the habitual offenders, but it is so much better than having to shout to get discipline. Well worth the investment!

A great book whcih is easy to read with lots of ideas for teachers. Delivery was quick. The book was in good condition.

If you only have time to read one book about managing student behavior, make it this one. This is the book I keep referring back to. Not only are the methods simple and effective, it reminds why I am a teacher and what I hope to accomplish by teaching. It helps me manage students and at the same time, reminds me of how to be a real teacher.

This book was fabulous. It clearly sets up a classroom management plan and it goes through step by step how to set it up in the classroom. Even if you decide not use their counting system, one can still benefit from the practice in identifying, setting, and following through on limits.
