Wow! What a find! I've come across Daisy books before but to me this one stands out from the rest: having had a library copy, I'm here ordering our own and can't even wait for the paperback to come out. Daisy dresses up as a spy (by drawing on a black moustache and putting on dark glasses) and accessorizes with key spy equipment like invisible ink/perfume from her mum's bedroom and the baddie-blasting hairdrier. This is highly amusing to the adult reader because it is so true to life and my children (6, 4 and 2) think its funny too. We also like Daisy's special spy language: `the ostrich lands on the red moon tonight' type. This code is hard for mere mortals to understand and Daisy becomes disheartened. Fortunately another spy (in disguise but the clues point to Daisy's mum) arrives with a coded message for a fun finale. It's a refreshing change to see a picture book featuring a feisty girl playing a tomboy game and my children are loving being secret agents. Fantastic for both boys and girls.

Oh what a lovely book, gives all grannies a chance to overact in reading this to the littlies and with the added fun of the disguise at the back of dark glasses, moustache etc.

Lovely, lovely books, which I enjoy reading almost as much as my granddaughter enjoys hearing them, even though she does tell me not to use so many silly voices!!!! Moi??

Another brilliant Daisy story, my son can't get enough of them.

She's playing a spy game today but gets upsetbtaht nobody understands '006 and a bits' spy code. Can '0021 and a bit' (aka Mum) help?

Very funny take on spies as children see them, and another view of Daisy and Mum's lovely relationship.

My son didn't really understand the spy talk, the code etc, but loves the costumes and imaginative play and when the adult spy (with purple moustache) makes an appearance and saves the day.

Not sure midnight feasts in a parent's bed are to be recommended though! But I won't dash cold water on it, it's a great book.

This book has gone down a storm with both my 6 year old daughter and her (soon to be) 3 year old brother. My son picked another Daisy book from the library, solely from the cover. This created great anticipation for bedtime. A good one to read them toghether.

Bought this for a friends daughter who is just gone 5 years old, who apparently absolutely loved it. There is a press out mask etc at the back which the mum said she had to wear for the whole time of reading the book. Definitely recommend.

My American 4 year old grand-daughter loves the Daisy Books and this one was no different. She loves the humour (very English she tells me!!!) and she enjoyed this book enormously.

My little girl wanted this book and is delighted with it. She loved the fact that you got a secret spy kit with the book. She loves Daisy books and this didn't disappoint!
