After having the opportunity to use this book day after day during the past 3 months, I can only say this : No other title with similar content had so much to offer as this one. Please dont think of this as a book but more a reference guide for you. It simply lists in alphabetical order the believed significance of things in our dreams. For example it lists chess in our dreams as being a metaphore for war or other strategic activity in our waking lives and then expands on to say what wining and losing the game in our dreams takes form in our waking lives. Its a great guide but more a reference to keep on your bookshelf.

My psychologist told me that ll my dreams have meaning whether i realised it or not and so i bought this in 2004 and i have used it ever since.

I used to keep a dream journal and found this a valuable resource to try and figure out what my subconscious was telling me.

It has a very detailed description to what the dreams mean and helped me understand my mind a lot better.

well i have recently become very aware of how significant dreams are, I have developed a keen talent for dream translation, this book has helped me find definitions and the part at the beginning was especially helpful, I am going to now explore the works of Jung and Freud.

I bought this book for my study of Jung's psychology. Though it only occasionally coincides with Jung's interpretations, the book gives a different perspective which I often find very true. Together with mydream software on my iPhone that I use on the go, I have all the references I need.

Yes, fair enough there are 10.000 dreams interpreted but, because there are so many it only glosses over each thing and is very vague.
I once saw one by Russel Grant that went into great detail of the simbolism of things you dream about, and it was so true! I am planing on finding it and I recomend you do the same.
